This is the first in a series of posts where we'll take a stroll around one block of DTLA and see what it has to offer. Today we'll hit destinations 1 - 4 on the map. We'll continue around the block as the series continues. So put on your comfy shoes and let's go!
833 S Spring St | DTLA went from one coffee shop to 20 coffee shops in a blink. Besides its beautiful interior and outdoor seating, Verve also offers a flight of fresh juices and pastries. Free wifi, natch.
105 W 9th St | This Argentinean restaurant is a relatively new addition to this block, and has proved to be a surprisingly healthy option. With plenty of salads, grilled meats and veggies and an affordable wine list, 1810 is a corner eatery with a simple, elegant interior.
107 W 9th St | Owner and chef Natalia brings love to all the food in this small, rustic Brazilian restaurant. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner, our favorites include the Chicken Pot Pie, Pork Burger, Brazilian Grill with Tilapia, and don't miss Coxhina to start, a favorite Brazilian street food. Side note: Natalia was once a personal chef for John Cleese and that makes me very happy.
Thanks for joining me on our first Walk Around the Block! More blocks coming soon, and let me know if there are any spots you'd like to have joyOdowntown explore.
